If you messed up with bashrc file then How to reload skeleton bashrc ?

To do so follow the next steps:

1. Backup your current .bashrc file:
   cp ~/.bashrc ~/.bashrc.bak
2. Copy the skeleton .bashrc file over yours:
   cp /etc/skel/.bashrc ~/
3. Afterwards, load the new one:
   source ~/.bashrc

Ubuntu 12.04 - Not able to open software center

Try following commands -

sudo rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists

sudo apt-get update


Then try opening ubuntu software center.

If Below error occurred

Then follow below steps 

sudo apt-get clean
cd /var/lib/apt
sudo mv lists lists.old
sudo mkdir -p lists/partial
sudo apt-get clean 
sudo apt-get update
